Mirrors the in-app Settings → Guide → Tips & tricks page. Gestures, capture, planning, themes, and a few quiet extras.
Gestures
Tap the status cycler
The rounded square indicator on the left of every to-do, habit, event, and nook row cycles status when tapped. To-dos go pending → in progress → blocked → done. Habits and nook items have their own shorter cycles. Tap again at done to wrap back.
Swipe right to mark done, then archive
Swipe a row right past the threshold. On a pending row this marks it done. Swipe a done row right again to send it to the archive. Two swipes from pending takes a row all the way out of the active view.
Swipe left to undo done
Swipe a done row left to flip it back to pending. Never destructive. Only operates on rows that are currently done. A swipe-left on a pending row is a no-op. The Mirror-swipes setting flips which direction does what.
Long-press a row for selection mode
Long-press anywhere on a row to enter multi-select. Tap more rows to add them to the selection, then use the action bar at the top to batch archive, delete, or mark done.
Drag the handle to reorder and reschedule
To-dos and habits have a small grip handle on the left of the title. Press and hold for ~120ms, then drag. Drop in a new spot to reorder. On the Week tab, drop on a different day to reschedule.
Drag the + button
The floating + is draggable. Press and hold, then move it anywhere on screen. Release near an edge for a tidy snap, or leave it mid-screen. The position persists across sessions.
Tap the chevron to expand
The chevron (›) on the right of every row is the only toggle for expanding. Tapping the row body never opens it. Keeps tap-to-edit and tap-to-expand cleanly separated.
Capture
NLP in Quick Capture
Tap the + and try Call mum @personal #family !high 18:00. Categories, tags, priority, and time are parsed inline, and the chips light up as you type. Recurrence isn’t inline. Pick it via the recurring icon instead.
Sigil guards
#meeting without a matching tag stays as literal text in the title (same for @anywhere). Tags and categories are reserved by their sigils until an autocomplete match exists, so you can safely type symbols.
Share from any app
Long-press text in Chrome / WhatsApp / anywhere → Share → DONE(kinda). Lands in Quick Capture pre-filled. Drop ideas without switching apps.
Plan
Yesterday’s leftovers
First app open of the morning shows a sheet with anything unfinished from yesterday. Two buttons per row: bring forward to today, or keep on yesterday.
Reminder offsets
On any scheduled to-do, tap the bell to choose 5 / 10 / 15 / 30 min before, or pick a specific reminder time. Picking an offset on an unscheduled to-do means “in X minutes from now”.
Multi-period habits
Recurring to-dos and habits can fire AM + PM in one row. Edit, tap both period chips, get two instances per day from one template.
Pause habits
Tap a habit’s cycler to pause it. Streaks remember the pause window so a break doesn’t break the rhythm. Tap again to resume.
Customise
18 themes
Settings → Appearance → Theme. Nine light (Pastel Drift) + nine dark (Iron Drift) gradients. The accent colour follows the theme.
Palette override
In a to-do or event’s expanded row, tap the palette icon to pick a custom colour for that row. Overrides the category/tag colour for just that row.
App icon variants
Settings → Appearance → App icon. Auto / Light / Dark. Auto follows the active theme so the launcher icon stays in lockstep with light or dark mode.
Track
Notes timeline
Every to-do can carry a thread of notes. Tap the note line in the expanded row to add one. Each entry is editable for 5 minutes, then locks, so older entries become a record.
Stats: Rhythm + Badges
Tap Stats from the menu. Rhythm shows your current streak tier and progress to the next. Badges lists every milestone you’ve earned and the ones still ahead.
Filters with saved views
The filter chip near the header opens a draft filter panel. Save combinations you reach for often (e.g. High priority + Work) and one-tap reapply.
Extras
Weather flourish
Settings → Extras → Weather. A short summary lands on the Day tab once per day. Uses approximate location (city-level), no account, no tracking.
Rage shake
Settings → Extras → Rage shake. Shake your phone hard when you’re stuck and the app surfaces your next undone to-do with a small nudge.
Pomodoro
Settings → Pomodoro. A timer floats above the app when running. Tap a to-do in the timer card to focus on it.
Move data
Import
Settings → Data → Import. Reads CSV files with title / date / priority columns. Auto-creates missing tags and categories.
Full JSON backup + restore
Settings → Data → Backup gives you a JSON file with everything. Restore replaces your current state wholesale. Use before a factory reset, or to move to a new phone.
Per-collection CSV exports
Settings → Data also exports to-dos, DONE(really), habits, and nook each as a standalone CSV. Useful for printing, analysing in a spreadsheet, or feeding into another tool.
